What better way to cruise into this blazing hot weekend than with a little inspiration for how to dress up a traditionally dressed down summer look? With temps in the 90’s this week in Chicago, I’ve been living in my distressed denim shorts pretty much everyday. They’re comfy and cool but certainly not chic… but can they be?
Dressing up an übercasual everyday basic into something ready for evening was surprisingly unchallenging. Shorts to dinner? If the venue calls for it, YES. Do it. Adding little touches like a heeled sandal and a fabulous, palm print blazer was really all it took.
