My Top 5 Must Haves for Moms to New Babies + Infants
MAM Bottles Pacifiers

This post has been sponsored by MAM. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

As a mom to two, with one being a new(er) baby, I’ve become a tried and true product tester. Running through almost every product on the shelves is seriously like my cardio these days! But I can’t tell you how frustrating it is when I end up with a sea of items that are not being used. From pacifiers that Eli won’t take, to bottles that he doesn’t like, my graveyard of discarded baby things sits and collects dust like old records or that stair stepper I just swore I’d use.

Today consider me your BFF that won’t steer you wrong and let you end up with the baby item graveyard. From our beloved MAM Comfort™ Pacifiers and MAM Easy Start™ Anti-Colic Bottles, to the best playmat you’ll ever find, this is my short list of the big favs! Get your bookmarking finger ready as I’m sharing the most used daily items that Eli just can’t live without right now.

First up… pacis and bottles. The options are endless and babies can be picky! How do you know what brand to go with? We’ve tried them all and have found that one size does not fit all. But luckily, we hit the jackpot with MAM.

MAM has been a trusted brand of parents for over 40 years, committing themselves to the health and safety of their products and the babies who use them. The MAM Comfort™ Pacifier was a win for both of our kids (Blake loved them, too). I adore how lightweight they are and how they stay put in baby’s mouth (no constant need to reinsert), plus it comes with a storage case that doubles as a self-sterilizing case. Put a little bit of water in the case, put it in the microwave for 3 minutes and your pacifiers are sterilized. BOOOM!

I can shop for them at Walmart.com or on my Walmart app which make it easy peasy and they just arrive at my doorstep.

For bottles, we also go with MAM (for the win!) and I’m particular to their MAM Easy Start™ Anti-Colic Bottles. I mean, just look how cute it is, but beyond that, it’s a bottle that makes it easy to switch between breast and bottle which I found helped Eli take to it so much more easily. And for another super convenient and thoughtful design feature, the MAM Easy Start™ Bottles can be self-sterilized in 3 minutes in the microwave with a little bit of water and without any added parts – no need for a separate sterilizer, steam bag or a pot of boiling water!

Walmart carries the bottles in three colors and you can choose your favorite for gender specific or gender neutral (for gifting or baby showers). Love it.

Next up is this super chic and reversible playmat. I’m obsessed with this print!

Now that Eli is rolling and starting to get up on all fours (and might even start crawling soon), I needed to give him a soft and comfy place to hang. I’ve run the gamut with cheap playmats that fall apart or are hard and unforgiving. I can assure you, this one is the best — it’s super cushy, comes in a ton of stylish prints that integrate instead of clash with the style of your home, and holds up well through tons of play.

New on the market this year, and all the rage, is Flora the Bunny! I also found her through Walmart. She is an animated bunny that sings and plays hide-and-seek while her big, floppy ears bounce up and down. I wish she had been around back when Blake was a baby (anyone who knows him knows how crazy he is for bunnies!), but we grabbed one for Eli and he just adores her. It keeps him entertained while we are tidying up or making dinner.

Anything that gives us a little time while promoting independent play is always a win in my book.

Last up is an oldie but a goodie, the Skip Hop Baby Activity Center. This activity center is actually Blake’s old one, but it held up so well that we hung onto it for Eli. This one goes the distance! Once baby is comfortable to hold his/her head up, it opens up a world of possibilities. This amazing utility player has it all… music, lights, tons of gadgets and widgets for baby to play with, but most importantly it’s a safe spot I can dock him while I’m multitasking but keeping an eye on him.

The seat swivels and encourages baby to go from station to station exploring his new semi-mobile world. I can’t recommend this one enough!

And there you have it! All of our current favs and fun stuff.. I hope you found this helpful and it leads to some new favorites for baby in your home. Drop a comment below with any of your must-have items, we’d love to try them!
