Black on black is pretty much always my go-to look. I just can’t help it… it’s classic, it’s slimming, it’s easy. Buuuuut, sometimes it can also be boring. Throwing in a versatile layering piece, like this little suede jacket, helps to jazz up the look a bit and takes basic black into chic territory. Playing with textures – like adding a little fringe or a cutout top – lends some visual interest too. I’ve been obsessively living in this top from Shein lately — it’s a simple piece yet garners a ton of compliments, because it’s the little details that make a difference.
